Domestic violence is not a singular incident; it is an insidious deeply rooted problem. A problem that crosses all socio-economic classes, races and ethnic groups. The impact is felt for generations. Join us in addressing the issue of domestic violence in the African American community at the 5th Annual Community Conversation: Domestic Violence in the African American Community.
Keynote speaker: Tonier Cain, CEO, Healing Neen. Tonier “Neen” Cain’s life was profiled in the documentary Healing Neen. The documentary follows the amazing recovery of Tonier from a lifetime of abuse and drug addiction to a career as a nationally known speaker and educator on the devastation of trauma and the hope of recovery.
