The Family Place’s Community Advisory Council (CAC) is a  group of individuals committed to strengthening our outreach, building awareness and expanding access to safety and support across North Texas.

CAC members work in partnership with The Family Place to ensure our programs and initiatives reflect the needs of the communities we serve—fostering understanding, promoting prevention and encouraging connection.

Community Advisory Council Luncheon 2026

Join us on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Brookhaven Country Club for the annual Community Advisory Council Luncheon, an inspiring gathering celebrating leadership, unity, and impact.

The luncheon brings together community advocates, civic leaders and partners committed to ending family violence and strengthening families across North Texas. Guests will hear from powerful voices in our community, enjoy a meaningful program and support The Family Place’s mission to provide safety, healing, and hope to survivors.
