Help Kids Start School With Confidence
2025 fill their backpacks school supply drive
Help us ensure every child we serve starts the school year with confidence and the supplies they need to succeed.
ANNUAL fill their backpacks SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE
Each year, our Fill Their Backpacks School Supply Drive eases the burden of back-to-school shopping for families escaping domestic violence. From hosting donation drives to providing fully stocked backpacks or making financial contributions, there are many ways to get involved.
DONATE FILLED BACKPACKS
Want to get hands-on? We love when companies and community groups host backpack-filling days! Your support directly helps children walk into their first day of school fully prepared—and feeling supported by their community. We can even tailor a volunteer experience just for your team. To learn more, contact Sara Brigger at sbrigger@familyplace.org or call 214.443.7714.
MONETARY DONATIONS
A financial gift allows us to purchase extra supplies, meet unique needs and make sure every student receives a backpack before the first bell rings.

Disclaimer:
The Family Place is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program that allows us to earn a small commission when you shop through certain Amazon links on our website — at no additional cost to you.
When you shop using our individual product links or our “Shop on Amazon & Support Us” link, a portion of your purchase comes back to help fund our mission.
When you shop directly from our Amazon Wish List, you’re purchasing much-needed items that ship straight to us — but we do not receive a commission on these wish list orders.
Thank you for supporting survivors and families in both of these meaningful ways!
